Mayor of Kepez municipality joined June 2009 meeting of ATB Assembly. After the expression of current events , Chairman of the Board of ATB Mr. Ali Çandır informed the members of ATB about the activities of Commodity Exchange within the last month. Mr. Çandır also informed the audiences about BAGEV and developmentsat Olive Trust at Kepez area.
Within the second part of his speech, Mr. Çandır expressed his views on the campaign of “ Cure for the Economic Crise” , that was leaded by Mr. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu who is the Head of TOBB. Mr. Çandır said that, interest rates needs to be pulled down to a reasonable and competible level as compared to the World standards.
VAT PAYABLES,
Mr. Çandır continued his speech by saying that “ as known by all parties, there are two results of economic crise, which are Unemployment and slowing dowm economic growth.” The reasons for these two factors are ; the lack of demand and cash flow, as well as recession in the economy. Consequently, payments of VAT needs to be balanced and paid on regular basis as three months periods as exactly in the European countries. By doing that, members of tax department will have beter cash flows and they will not finance their expenditures by paying higher and unacceptable interest rates.
OLIVE TRUST MUST BE PROTECTED:
After the Chairman of the board of directors of ATB Ali Çandır, Head of Kepez municipality Hakan Tütüncü has expressed that, they are ready to work with ATB about Olive Trust fort he benefit of Antalya public. Mr. Tütüncü also mentioned that, olive trust is one of the biggest green areas at Antalya city center and it must be protected at its current condition and the the area has to contribute the economy of Antalya.
