Head of Antalya district treasurer, Mr. Hidayet Mat informed the members of Antalya Commodity Exchange at the assembly meeting of ATB for September 2009 about the new encouragement system. Mr. Mat said that, ‘the new system started to be applied on the 3rd of September 2009’. The system was regional in the past, and now it covers all the country.
Mr. Hidayet Mat explained the objectives of the system as following;
- Minimizing the regional development differences.
- Supporting the large investments, which contains technology and research-development.
Main tools to reach these objectives are;
-Decreasing the income taxes,
-Interest Support,
-Providing investment area,
-VAT Support,
-Customs tariff support.
